چکیده

Elastomer foams have been shown to have outstanding properties such as high flexibility, low weight and low thermal conductivity, while having low cost. Nanoclay (NC) is recognized as one of the most effective particles because of its thermal degradation resistance as well as mechanical properties improvement providing that good dispersion is achieved. In this study, compression molding was used to produce elastomeric nanocomposite foams based on natural rubber (NR) reinforcing by organo-modified NC. NC-reinforced closed-cell NR foams with various relative densities were prepared, respectively. Morphological and mechanical properties of the foams were studied. Strain-strain. The compressive strain-stress behavior of rubber foams were investigated using different superelastic models. Modeling studies showed that Gibon Ashby had the best prediction of foam modulus. Van-der, Ogden 3, Marlow Polynomial models from hyper elastic models had good acceptance with experimental results
