In this paper, we obtain a full classi cation of Ricci collineations and matter collineations over the group E(2) (rigid motions of Euclidean 2-space). Also Ricci, curvature and matter collineations of the group E(1; 1) (rigid motions of Minkowski 2-space) are obtained.
