The aim of this paper is to study strong convergence theorems for fixed point problems of an infinite
family of strictly pseudo-contractive mappings and solution problems for a system of monotone variational inequalities.
Our results mainly improve and extend the results announced by Yuan [Q. Yuan, On nonexpansive
mappings and an inverse-strongly monotone mapping in Hilbert spaces, J. Nonlinear Funct. Anal. 2015 (2015),
Article ID 1] and other corresponding results.
