In this study for the first time, fabrication of catechin loaded hybride fibrous scaffolds from gelatin
and poly lactic acid was assessed. These fibers were produced by electrospinning process. For this purpose,
PLA solution was injected from one syringe and gelatin solution from the other one and catechin was loaded
in PLA or gelatin or both polymer solution formulation. The results of SEM showed smooth and bead free
fibers. FT-IR analysis exhibited exsistence of both polymers and catechin in the produced hybride fiberous
substrate. Loading catechin in fibers sttucture increased hydrophilicity nature of fibers.
