Folates are essential groups of molecules that have vital roles in various functions in the body system. In this case, understanding of general properties of folates and the effective factors on their involved mechanisms is necessary for treatment of folate-related diseases. These functions are highly dependent on the molecular structures and the properties of their surrounding environments. Moreover, genetic changes in folate metabolism can induce various diseases. Therefore, the studies on involved folate mechanisms, various molecular interactions and, environment- induced effects will appear the interesting results. Recently, the related researches have also become a challenging research area.
