Introduction
My name is Peyman Narjabadifam. “Peyman” means to commit yourself to do what you believe or promise and “Narjabadifam” is a given family name regarding beautiful gardens my great grandfather had bought in a small village near to Maragheh in the southern East Azarbaijan province, the well-known historic province of Iran. I was born on February 8th of the year 1980 in Tabriz, the capital city of East Azarbaijan province.
I grew up in Tabriz. The pre-school period made it possible to feel the life as it must always be. During the four years of elementary school, with the third grade passed only in one summer - as a talented student, I learned a lot on the basics of science and I will never forget my kind teachers in the first and third years. For the guidance and high schools the most important thing was to acquire knowledge in order to realize my imaginations in higher education.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering was the first step in the way I had chosen to go. Being familiar with the sub-discipline of my interest, I was motivated to start M.Sc. degree in Structural Engineering. I studied aseismic isolation technique in my master. However, I was not satisfied and I decided to expand my studies to the Ph.D. degree. For the courses I focused on the subject and then taking the advantages of a research opportunity in Italy, supported by the ministry of science (MSRT) of Iran, I proposed a modern base isolation system in my dissertation.
Now, I live in my home city. My favorite hobbies are to study and write about my thoughts, to do some sport activities, in which everyday exercises and running or swimming are preferred to others, and to listen to and play classical music.
