The annular Bessel beam output from the axicon-based thin-disk laser resonator has been investigated, under the particular assumption of the cavity configuration. The numerical results show the purity of the output beam, which is one of the essential properties of the thin disk laser. The cavity diffraction loss, the stability, and full width at a half minimum of the annular beam are surveyed in detail.
