In this research, nano praseodymium zirconium oxide powders were synthesized by a new and easy route. To reach the optimal conditions for the synthesis of nanopowders, the influence of some factors was checked. The results of our investigation illustrated that the size and morphology of nonopraseodymium zirconium oxide were crucially affected by the examined factors. The as-formed praseodymium zirconium oxide was characterized via FT-IR, FESEM, EDS and XRD. Our outcomes displayed that with the aid of this novel route can be formed nano praseodymium zirconium oxide powders with appropriate uniformity. In addition, the catalytic ability of nano praseodymium zirconium oxide powders was examined in the propane selective catalytic reduction of NOx (propane-SCR-NOx).
