In this research, lead tungstate nano powders were fabricated by a novel and facile approach. To find the optimal conditions for the creation of lead tungstate nanoparticles, the role of some preparation parameters was examined. Results of this research exhibited that the size and morphology of lead tungstate nanoparticles were remarkably affected by the studied parameters. The as-fabricated lead tungstate nanoparticles were characterized by FT-IR, FESEM, EDS and XRD. Based on the obtained results, it was found that with the aid of this new approach can be created spherical lead tungstate nanoparticles with favourable homogeneity. Furthermore, the photocatalyst performance of as-created lead tungstate nanoparticles was evaluated by elimination of the organic contamination under visible light.
