In this work, barium stannate nano powders were produced via a new and simple way. To find the optimal conditions for the fabrication of the nanostructured barium stannate, the role of some synthesis parameters was explored. Results of this investigation displayed that the size and shape of barium stannate nanoparticles were outstandingly affected with the studied factors. The as-prepared barium stannate nanoparticles were characterized by FT-IR, FESEM, EDS and XRD. According to the obtained outcomes, it was found that with the aid of this novel process may be fabricated sphere-like barium stannate nanoparticles with desirable homogeneity. Besides, the photocatalyst efficiency of as-prepared barium stannate nanoparticles was examined by removal of the organic pollution under UV light.
