In this research, nano bismuth-cerium oxide ceramic powders were prepared through a novel and facile pathway. To find the optimal conditions for the fabrication of bismuth-cerium oxide nanopowders, the effect of some preparation parameters was examined. The results of this study displayed that the size and morphology of nano bismuth-cerium oxide were significantly affected by the studied parameters. The as-prepared bismuth-cerium oxide was characterized by FT-IR, FESEM, EDS and XRD. The obtained outcomes illustrated that with the aid of this new procedure can be created spherical bismuth-cerium oxide nanostructures with good uniformity. Moreover, the photocatalyst activity of as-fabricated bismuth-cerium oxide was examined by removal of the organic pollution under visible light.
