In this study, MnWO4 nanoparticles were fabricated through a new and simple wet chemistry route. The role of some fabrication factors was checked to reach optimum condition. Findings of this work show that shape and size of the MnWO4 could be substantially influenced by these factors. The as-synthesized MnWO4 nanoparticles were characterized whit FT-IR, FESEM and XRD. According to the obtained findings, it was found that with the help of this new route can be produced homogeneous MnWO4 nanoparticles. The photocatalyst activity of as-synthesized MnWO4 nanoparticles was also checked by degradation of the organic contaminant under visible light.
