One of the most pressing challenges in the world today is the question of water as one of the elements that sustain humanity. For the fabrication of polymeric membranes, polycarbonate is an excellent option because of its distinct physical and chemical characteristics, high level of heat resistance, and inexpensive price. The influence on the structure and functionality of TFN membranes(Thin film nanocomposite membrances) was then investigated by using nanoparticles at a concentration of 0 to 0.5 wt% percent in the construction of TFN thin film nanocomposite membranes. Additionally, Humic acid filtering membrane systems using TFC (Thin film composite membrances and TFN were studied. The rejection rate for TFC membranes was about 97.9% while for TFN membranes in the presence of modified silica amine nanoparticles it reached 98.5%.
