Abstract
|
Self-governing stimuli responsive polymer-stabilized cholesteric liquid crystals (PSCLCs) ,which responded to various external stimuli, are desirable materials for various applications. Herein, a psclc reflector whose wavelength of Bragg reflection changes electrically was fabricated. By applying the external electric field, the selective reflection wavelength tuned to the longer wavelengths and also increasing in transmittance rate observed.
