In this investigation, cerium bismuth oxide-based nanopowders were produced through a new and simple wet chemistry route. The role of some synthesis factors was checked to reach optimum condition. Outcome of this work display that shape and size of the cerium bismuth oxide-based nanopowders could be substantially influenced by these factors. The as-produced cerium bismuth oxide-based nanostructures were characterized whit FT-IR, FESEM and XRD. According to the obtained outcomes, it was found that with the help of this new route can be synthesized relatively homogeneous cerium bismuth oxide-based nanopowders. The photocatalyst performance of as-produced cerium bismuth oxide-based nanopowders was also checked by elimination of the organic pollutant under visible light.
